SENIORS SUPERSTORES PRIVACY POLICYSeniorssuperstores.com respects the privacy of users who visit with us. We believe in The Golden Rule in that we will not do anything to you that we would not like done to us! YOUR CONFIDENTIALITY:No effort is made to identify individuals without their knowledge. When a visitor requests any of our pages, our Web servers automatically recognize the browser’s domain name and IP address. Our servers do not record e-mail addresses. We collect the domain names and IP address in order to accumulate information about what pages users access or visit, and this information is collected solely for statistical purposes and is not used to identify individuals. From time to time, we ask you to provide your e-mail address or mailing address for the purpose of a survey, to provide you additional services or to send you our newsletter "Keeping in Touch". In such instances, of course you have the right to refuse to give us that information. When you purchase, we must ask for your name, address, phone number and e-mail address so that we can fill and ship your order, and if we need to contact you in the future in the event of a product recall or other unforeseen happening. Whenever we do record your information, you may rest assured that it is for a purpose that benefits you! And, that information is strictly safeguarded - it is not shared with anyone else. COOKIES: As an added means to protect your confidentiality, we use cookies only if you register as a customer....that makes it easier for you to shop with us again in the future! (But, we do not store credit card information under any circumstances!) We do not place any other identifier on you computer's browser. YOUR CREDIT CARD: Did you know that it is safer to use your credit card to purchase from us than it is to give your credit card to a waiter or waitress in a restaurant? We use SSL encryption technology and AuthorizeNet, both of which are the most sophisticated processing systems available. We at Seniors Superstores never have access to your credit card number. Our credit card processing service receives your credit card number from your computer via the very sophisticated encryption SSL technology and transmits that information to your credit card company (ie your bank). No human being ever sees your number in this chain of events. Your credit card company assigns a transaction number to your transaction and sends that back to our credit card processing service, which then notifies us that your charge has been approved. We then complete the transaction (after the order has been shipped) by approving the transaction number that was assigned. Thus, the only humans who have access to your credit card number are you and the people who work at the company who issued your credit card. |
