How To OrderWe want your shopping experience with us to be pleasant and without problems. That is why we have created this list of common questions and suggestions about shopping at SeniorSSuperStoreS.com. How Do I Order? Is It Complicated?Ordering By Credit Card What If My Order Doesn't Go Through? Ordering Without a Credit Card or Ordering Offline How Do I Order? Is It Complicated? Basically, shopping in our online store is a 3 step process, much like a traditional physical store. You browse through our various departments to find the merchandise you want. Or, you may use our search function which will help you locate the the item you're looking for - - like a customer service desk! As you find what you want to buy, add it to your Shopping Cart by clicking on the Add to Cart link for each product. Then, click the "View Cart" link to see what you have put into your shopping cart. You may add as many of each item you wish by clicking Continue Shopping on the Shopping Cart page. If the product description contains a choice of style, color or size, you may select those as you add them to your shopping cart. After you have finished your selections, click on Check out, which will take you to the first of our Checkout pages where the contents of your shopping cart have been totaled. (Don't be alarmed by the "Security Information" pop-up since that is an routine function of many browsers; just click "yes.".) You can be sure that you are on a secure page because the address of this page starts with "https" (rather than simply "http"). The first of our Checkout pages is where you enter your Billing Information, including your name and address as recognized by your credit card company, as well as your email address (so that we may communicate with you) and your phone number (sometimes needed for shipping purposes). If you are ordering for someone else, such as a gift, or if you want the order shipped to another name and / or address than the one you entered for payment purposes, you may enter that as you click to continue to the Shipping Address page. Continue on to the next page where you enter your Payment Information by entering your credit card information (or if you want to pay by some other means, just follow this page on down for how to do that). A common mistake that customers make is to overlook the CVV Card Code entry on our checkout page (immediately after you enter the expiration date of your credit card). You need to enter that CVV number. For American Express cards, the CVV number is 4 digits (not part of your credit card number) and you will find it on the front of your card in the upper right hand, above your card number. For Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards, the CVV code number is 3 digits and you'll find it on the back of your card - to the right of the last 4 digits of your card number. On this Payment Information page, please be sure to enter your preferred shipping method. If you have any questions about which shipping method to choose, please go to our Shipping & Handling page. And, if you want to provide us any special shipping instructions or include a gift note to the recipient of your shipment, here is where you enter that information. When you complete this page, click "Continue" to view your entire order on our "Confirm Order Information" page. If you wish to change anything, you may click back on your browser to the appropriate page to change that information. Then, click the Submit My Order link that will submit your encrypted credit card information to our credit card processing service and on to your credit card company. Your credit card company will notify us within a matter of seconds, via our credit card processing service, that your purchase has been approved, and we do the rest! Back to the TopOur system is designed for you to use a credit card to purchase from us because that is the safest, most secure and fastest method to order and pay. Also, when you order by credit card, we get your order immediately, and we are able to begin processing your order much more quickly than if you order and pay by any other means. Did you know that it is safer to use your credit card to purchase from us than it is to give your credit card to a waiter or waitress in a restaurant? We use SSL encryption technology and AuthorizeNet, both of which are the most sophisticated processing systems available. When you order online, we at Seniors Superstores never have access to your credit card number when you order online - under any circumstances! Our credit card processing service receives your credit card information from your computer via our system using the very sophisticated encryption SSL technology and transmits that encrypted information to your credit card company. No human being ever sees your credit card information in this chain of events. Your credit card company assigns a transaction number to your transaction and sends that back to our credit card processing service, which then notifies us that your charge has been approved. After we ship your order, we complete the transaction by approving the transaction number that was assigned. Thus, the only humans who have access to your credit card number are you and the people who work at the company who issued your credit card. And, neither we nor our credit card processing service store your credit card information! Back to the TopWhat If My Order Doesn't Go Through? If you have entered your credit card information and did not complete your order, you will not be charged. As for having entered your credit card information, you do not need to be concerned. We do not have access to your credit card information. When you enter your credit card information, the data is encrypted with a sophisticated encryption technology and transmitted from your computer through us and our credit card processing service to your credit card issuer. The data is then unencrypted by your credit card issuer. When the charge is approved, your card issuer assigns a transaction number to your purchase with our credit card processing service. We access the details of your purchase with our credit card processing service by referring to that transaction number. For approved charges, we process the actual charge to your card by way of that transaction number. (Similarly, if we issue an adjustment or refund to a customer's charge, we do so by referring to that transaction number.) Throughout this entire process, no human eyes ever see your credit card information - from the time you enter your number all the way through the transactions with your credit card issuer. And, at no time is your credit card information stored anywhere by either us or our credit card processing service. We are not always able to tell you what problem you may have had placing your order, but there are some possibilities. We accept Visa, Mastercard,Discover, and American Express; if any other card was used, an error message is issued telling you to notify us, thus voiding the transaction. Also, if there was a problem communicating between the computers in the above-described cycle / circuit, a similar message is issued and the transaction is voided as a security measure. If there was a problem with how your card number or expiration date were entered on our check-out page, or perhaps you overlooked the 3 digit security code number on the back of the card (actually, it's 4 digits in the upper right hand corner on the front of the American Express cards), the transaction is voided as a security measure. Also, if your card was issued by a bank that does not participate in the Address Verification Service (such is often the case with a non-US bank), you also may experience problems placing your order - but your card still has not been charged! In those instances, please notify us by email at mail@seniorssuperstores.com telling us what happened and what kind of response you got from the credit card processor. So, do not worry about having entered your credit card number if the transaction was never completed. (If the transaction had been completed, we would be able to access the transaction number with our credit card processing service.) We urge you to try again to place your order, but remember to please use either a Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express, and please be sure that you enter your card number, expiration date and the 3 or 4 digit security numbers correctly. We apologize for this inconvenience, and rest assured that we are here to help. Back to the TopOrdering Without a Credit Card or Ordering Offline Despite the advantages and safeguards of ordering online by credit card in our system, you can still order from us without using a credit card. We offer you two choices: (1) You can send us a postal money order for the amount of your purchase (plus shipping/handling), and we will ship your order immediately upon receipt of the money order with your order; or (2) We will accept a check, but we must wait 14 days between our receipt of your order and check before we can ship the order. In either of these situations, here is how to place your order: 1. Click here to go to our Printable Order Form and print out the form. 2. Go into the appropriate product department that features the merchandise you want to buy; then click the image of the product you are interested in to go to that product's individual product page. 3. Select the products you want to buy and enter those details on this form. Be sure to provide us the size and color combinations that appear on the individual product pages 4. When you have entered all of the items you want to buy, and totalled the order, be sure to include the Shipping and Handling charges that you will find on our Shipping & Handling page. 5. On this form, enter all of the billing and shipping information that we request. 6. Mail us a copy of the form(s) that you have completed, along with either your money order or your check. Mail these to: (We recommend you keep a copy of what you mail to us.) 6. Finally, email us at mail@seniorssuperstores.com and let us know that your order is in the mail and for us to be on the lookout for it. That's all you need to do. We take care of the rest! After we receive your order in the mail, we will enter it into our system and email you a summary and receipt. If you are paying by money order, your order will be shipped immediately; if the payment is by check, we will email the receipt, but the order will not be shipped until 14 days later.
