October 9, 2001 Keeping in Touch

Hello again from SeniorS SuperStoreS.

Welcome to our new subscribers; and to our established subscribers of Keeping in Touch, a special Welcome Back. We're glad to see you again.

You may have seen reference on our Home Page about our financial support of a very special non-profit organization, but let us give you some more information about our unique arrangement.

Our company, SeniorS SuperStoreS, LLC, which owns and operates two Internet sites: www.SeniorSSuperStoreS.com and www.E-Seniors-Village.com, donates a percentage of our gross revenues from operations to The Lifelong Learning Society, a component of the School of Continuing Studies of Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. Company revenues, upon which the donations are based, are comprised of sales of products that we offer, advertising revenues, and revenues from services and programs that we make available to visitors and users through both sites.

Nationally recognized and award winning, the Lifelong Learning Society is designed with the mature student in mind. It offers courses in art, computer technology, finance, genealogy, government, history, literature, music, writing, internet based courses and more. The Society's wide range of course topics satisfies the serious student as well as the casual learner. Courses are taught by Coastal Carolina University faculty, retired faculty from CCU and other universities, and area experts in their fields. And, the Society now has perhaps the most unique and functional building of its kind in the country to house its operations. To learn more about the numerous components and programs of the Lifelong Learning Society, go to www.coastal.edu/learn.

According to Dr. Peter Balsamo, Dean of the University's School of Continuing Studies, "We are pleased to have established this relationship with a local company which has similar views about the importance of the role of our aging population in the community. The success of our program, and especially the furnishing and equipping of our new on campus facility, will be enhanced by the monies we receive from this arrangement. We have built a model program of its type in the country, and now we can claim, to our knowledge, to have the first commercial support of this nature from a company which focuses on the needs of seniors."

According to Paul Smith, the Founder and President of SeniorS SuperStoreS, "Our company and the Lifelong Learning Society have much in common. The Society's purpose is to make continuing learning, social opportunities, and resources available to the older citizens in the community in a quality setting. Our company's theme is to 'meet the lifestyle needs of mature adults,' and we do this by offering products, services and resources selected to enhance the health, safety and financial lifestyles of baby boomers to Prime Time surfers. Just as we carefully select what we offer our visitors and customers, we have carefully selected the Lifelong Learning Society to receive our financial support. We view this as a perfect fit."

Our www.SeniorSSuperStoreS.com site features, in addition to a wide variety of products selected for seniors and those who shop for seniors, the Community Room, which contains news wire services and a wide array of other resources and information. The E-Seniors-Village site is a developing portal for seniors and features Internet navigational aids, services and programs of interest to seniors, and an Internet chat room.

So, as you visit with us and send your friends and family to us, you are helping to support this most worthy cause.
