Jean's Walker Bags - Walker bags make the perfect gift for elderly loved ones who use walkers or moms with baby strollers. They are beautifully and lovingly hand made by a professional seamstress with 45 years of experience and make the perfect complement to a walker or stroller. These unique walker bags allow those assisted by walkers to safely carry lightweight, frequently used items from room to room, without having to release their grip on the walker handles. Jean's walker bags attach with oversized buttons of various designs, making the walker bags easier for the elderly to fasten to walkers. The front of the walker bags have a 7" by 8.5" pocket, which makes them great for carrying small items. These tote bags can be used for more than just walkers! They work great for anything that has a rail, including baby strollers, shopping carts, some wheelchairs and hospital beds. Some customers carry them on the arm, use them in a dorm, keep one in the car... you get the idea! Lightweight, yet sturdy, easy to attach and handy for pen, paper, eyeglasses, even cell phones, they simplify life for the homebound and everyone else! Jean's walker bags are special because the straps connect from one side of the bag to the other, rather than on both sides of the bag like traditional purses and tote bags. This allows you to strap them across a bar or rail, or even carry them on your arm less awkwardly than a regular tote bag. Made of a sturdy cotton blend, they are 14.5" wide by 12" high (they range from 16"-17" high including the straps) and an inch and a half broad. (As the walker bags are made of a cotton blend, they should not be used outside in the rain; the rain could seep through to the contents of the walker bag.)
